About Jason
Welcome to my site. I'm a web developer and audio engineer, and I hope to highlight both of those skills in this site. I studied music in school, both at Santa Barbara City College and then at California State University, Chico. I recived BS degrees in Recording Arts and in Music Indsutry from Chico. While I've had no higher education for web development, I have been building web pages and programming computers since before Beavis & Butthead were on Mtv. In fact, the first program I wrote was an ANSI file art viewer for viewing ANSI files when you're not connected to a BBS.
My first experience with audio dates back to creating MOD files back in the early 1990's. I've since moved on to professional software, such as ProTools, Nuendo, and Logic for my audio mixing, and even dabble in video editing with Adobe Premiere Pro and FinalCut Pro. My true passion in audio, however, is engineering for a live show. Nothing beats the thrill of mixing live, and I was able to experience that thrill for two summers on the Vans Warped Tour.
I live in beautiful San Diego, California, and love it here! I live in the Hillcrest neighborhood, a wonderful gay-centric neighborhood not far from downtown San Diego. I moved here because I wanted to find a beutiful place to live, and build a wonderful life. I'm on that path, and have no regrets!
